It should be pointed out that this squid never saw a single match, and doesnt even comprehend the concept of a football.

"Paul" seems a strange name for a squid. Bit like calling your dog "Dave" or "Johnathan". Or your cat "Joana Lumley". Or your child "Paris".

What precedent is their for octopus names ?

What does this Mahmoud character know about sealife? Squids happen to be the most intelligent slugs alive.

That's probably 5 times more intelligent than the average theist. At least Paul is using his brain.
